In this paper, we analyzed the data collected in the classes of 2011 and 2012 at the MS department of K University with a focus on learners' motivation and learning styles, and discussed improved course designs. There was no direct correlation between learning styles and the attainment level, while learners' learning styles were related in different ways to e-learning and collaborative learning depending on the course design.
