In February 2020, we established the infection control committee for COVID-19 of Kawasaki Medical School Hospital. The meeting for inpatients were limited, and the clinic for the returnee or contact to patients, that is, the current one for COVID-19, in March. The first statement of Emergency was declared throughout Japan in April.Then, we started the in-house examinations for COVID-19 such as real-time PCR or LAMP method, and the operation of special ward for COVID-19. Furthermore, clinical clerkships in our hospital were stopped at this time. However, they were re-started in May, when the 1st statement and have been continued until now. \n　The second-wave of COVID-19 begun and the number of patients increased rapidly in including Okayama Prefecture. The 1st inpatients with COVID-19 admitted in our hospital, then. \nIn September, the operation of the ward for the mild and moderate cases with COVID-19 was started. In accordance with this, the treatment system was established as follows; the internal medicine team for the mild and moderate cases, and the emergency team for the severe ones.\n　And the bigger wave, so-called the 3rd wave arrived in the end of year.\n　Therefore, the COVID-19 committee were held almost every week, and we introduced the new PCR machine instead of the LAMP method.
