「医学用語」科目において,ブレンディッド型eラーニングの中に協調学習を取り入れた複数の授業デザインを作成し実施している.本稿では,そのうちK大学MS学科で2011年度と2012年度に実施した授業について,学習意欲と学習者特性に着目して分析を行い,授業デザインについて検討した.その結果,学習者特性と到達度については直接の関係は見られなかったが,協調学習やeラーニングと学習者特性との関連は,授業のデザインにより異なっていた.学習者の意欲を継続させ,効果的に学習させるには,以下の点に注意して授業をデザインすることが必要であることを確認した:(1)グループは少人数で構成し,フリーライダー化を防ぐ,(2)協調学習課題の中にLMSの利用を取り入れ,課外時間を使って学習を深める,(3)協調学習の課題は,順次処理型と全体把握型の学習者特性の両方の特徴を活かせるものとする. |

In medical English terminology courses, we have designed some classes for blended e-learning with collaborative learning. In this paper, we analyzed the data collected in the classes of 2011 and 2012 at the MS department of K University with a focus on learners' motivation and learning styles, and discussed improved course designs. There was no direct correlation between learning styles and the attainment level, while learners' learning styles were related in different ways to e-learning and collaborative learning depending on the course design. In order to maintain learners' motivation and enable effective learning, it is necessary to design the courses with attention to the following points: (1) to organize small groups to prevent the presence of free riders, (2) to promote extracurricular activities by using the Learning Management System, and, (3) to provide plural assignments of collaborative learning which can motivate both characteristics of sequential learners and global learners. |
